《 Thriller 》는 美國의 歌手 마이클 잭슨 의 여섯 番째 스튜디오 音盤이자 成人 時節 두 番째 音盤이다. 1982年 11月 30日 에픽 레코드 를 통해 發賣되었다. 《Thriller》는 以前 作인 《 Off the Wall 》과 비슷한 장르로 이루어져 있는데, 포스트 디스코 , 팝 , 알앤비 , 록 , 펑크 , 어덜트 컨템포러리 音樂 을 실었다. [1] [2] [3] 錄音은 로스앤젤레스 의 웨스트레이크 레코딩 스튜디오 에서 1982年 4月부터 11月까지 프로듀서 퀸시 존스 의 支援下에 75萬 달러 製作費로 進行했다.

앨범에서 아홉 曲의 收錄曲 中 네 曲은 잭슨이 作詞/作曲했다. 앨범에서 發賣된 7張의 싱글은 모두 빌보드 핫 100 10位圈에 進入했다. 이는 前作 《 Off the Wall 》이 세운 新記錄을 깬 것이다. 이 中 세 曲은 뮤직비디오도 公開했다. 《Thriller》는 여러 資料를 통해 世界的으로 7,000萬 腸을 販賣했다고 推定되며, 이는 歷史上 가장 많이 팔린 音盤으로 기네스북에도 登載됐다.
