자크 살로몽 아다마르 ( 프랑스語 : Jacques Salomon Hadamard , 프랑스語 發音: ​ [??k sal?m?? adama?] , 1865年 12月 8日 ~ 1963年 10月 17日 )는 少數 整理 의 證明을 통해 잘 알려진 프랑스 의 數學者 이다. [1] [2] [3]

1865年 12月 8日에 프랑스 베르사유 의 유대人 家庭에서 태어났다. 아버지 아메데 아다마르( 프랑스語 : Amedee Hadamard )는 敎師였으며, 어머니는 클레르 마리 盞 피카르( 프랑스語 : Claire Marie Jeanne Picard )였다. 1884年에 에콜 노르말 쉬페리외르 에 入學하였으며, 1892年에 博士 學位를 授與받았다. 같은 해에 루이즈아나 트레넬( 프랑스語 : Louise-Anna Trenel )과 結婚하여 3男2女를 두었다.

1893年에 보르도 大學校 講師가 되었다. 1894年에 反유대主義 드레퓌스 事件 이 發生하였다. 아다마르는 유대人이었으며, 아다마르의 6寸 親戚 루시 드레퓌스( 프랑스語 : Lucie Dreyfus )가 드레퓌스 事件의 當事者 알프레드 드레퓌스 의 아내였다. 이 때문에, 아다마르는 無神論者 였지만 시온주의 等에 關心을 갖게 되었다.

1896年에 少數 整理 를 證明하였다. (거의 同時에 샤를腸 드 라 발레푸생 이 같은 整理를 獨自的으로 證明하였다.) 같은 해에 보르도 大學校 敎授로 昇進하였다. 1897年에 파리 로 移徙하여, 1909年에 콜레주 드 프랑스 의 敎授가 되었다. 1912年에 에콜 폴리테크니크 의 敎授가 되었다. 1916年에 프랑스 科學 아카데미 會員이 되었다.

第2次 世界 大戰 途中 나치 獨逸 이 프랑스를 侵攻하자, 유대人 이었던 아다마르는 프랑스 南部로 避難하였다. 비시 프랑스 政府는 아다마르가 美國으로 亡命하는 것을 許容하였으며 아다마르는 1941年~1944年까지 美國 컬럼비아 大學校 에 있었다. 1944年에 런던 으로 移徙하였으며, 1945年에 終戰 뒤 故國으로 歸還하였다.

1963年 10月 17日에 파리 에서 享年 97歲의 나이로 死亡하였다.
