칼라일그룹 韓國事務所의 職員 鄭某氏(23)는 11名의 美國 親舊에게 ‘王처럼 살고 있소’라는 題目으로 韓國에서 호사스럽게 살고있다는 內容의 e메일을 보낸 것이 말썽나 15日 辭表를 냈다.

鄭氏는 이 e메일에서 “漢江이 내다보이는 서울의 大型 아파트에 살고 있고 여러 銀行의 任職員들로부터 거의 每日 ‘바이사이드(바이어)’ 立場에서 골프와 저녁 술待接 等 饗應을 받고 있다”고 떠벌렸다.

또 그는 “같은 아파트에 살고 있는 副社長과 포르셰로 出勤하며 거의 每日 밤 韓國 젊은 女性들로부터 5∼8通의 電話가 오고 平均 3名의 女性들로부터 밤을 같이 보내자는 提議를 받았으며 아파트의 寢室은 ‘靈界의 할렘’을 위해 使用됐다”고 말했다.

問題의 e메일은 그의 全 職場인 메릴린치證券社를 包含한 美國 월스트리트에 퍼진 뒤 世界 全域의 投資銀行과 證券社 벤처캐피털 等으로 擴散됐고 結局 칼라일그룹 워싱턴 本社에까지 알려졌다는 것.

鄭氏는 99年 7月부터 올해 4月까지 메릴린치證券社에서 일하다 칼라일그룹으로 자리를 옮겼으며 入社 며칠 뒤 韓國事務所에 發令나 勤務하던 狀態였다.

丁氏는 이番 騷動으로 칼라일그룹에 들어온 지 2週日 만에 途中下車했다는 것.

칼라일그룹은 한미은행의 最大株主(持分 40.1%)로 제임스 베이커 前國務長官과 조지 부시 前大統領을 包含해 워싱턴의 有名人士들이 拷問이나 파트너로 參與하고 있다.

So I've been in Korea for about a week and a half now and what can I say,

LIFE IS GOOD…

I've got a spanking brand new 2000 sq. foot 3bedroom apt. with a 200sq. foot terrace running the entire length of my apartment with a view overlooking Korea's main river and nightline… Why do I need 3 bedrooms?

Good question…. the main bedroom is for my queen size bed… where C×××× is going to fuck every hot chick in Korea over the next 2 years (5 down, 1,000,000,000 left to go)…. the second bedroom is for my harem of chickies, and the third bedroom is for all of you fuckers when you come out to visit my ass in Korea. I go out to Korea's finest clubs, bars and lounges pretty much every other night on th weekdays and everyday on the weekends to (I think in about 2 months, after I learn a little bit of the buyside business I'll probably go out every night on the weekdays). I know I was a stud in NYC but I pretty much get about, on average, 5-8 phone numbers a night and at least 3 hot chicks that say that they want to go home with me every night I go out. I love the buyside… I haver bankers calling me everyday with opportunities and they pretty much cater to my every whim - you know (golfing events, lavish dinners, a night out clubbing). The guys I work with ar also all chilll - I live in the same apt building as my VP and he drives me around in his Porsche (1 of 3 in all of Korea) to work and when we go out. What can I say… live is good….
