쇼나語는 쇼나 地域의 中心 方言에 基盤한 標準化된 言語를 가리키는데 使用된다.

스페인語
에서처럼 발음된다: a, e, i, o, u. 各 母音은 연이어 발음되더라도 分離해서 發音한다. 이를테면 "어디로 갑니까?"라는 뜻의 "Uno enda kupi?"는
[u.no.e.nda.ku.pi]
로 발음된다.
