맥아피 ( 英語 : McAfee Corp. 매커피 [ * ] , 英語 發音: /?mæk?fiː/ [2] )는 美國 캘리포니아州 샌타클래라 에 本社가 있는 컴퓨터 保安 關聯 소프트웨어와 하드웨어를 製作 및 販賣하는 會社이다. 2014年부터 2017年까지 인텔 시큐리티 ( Intel Security )라는 이름을 使用하였다.

1987年 設立者 존 매커피 (1994年에 會社를 辭職함)에 依해 McAfee Associates 라는 이름으로 設立되었다. [3]

인텔의 引受 [ 編輯 ]

2010年 8月 19日, 인텔 은 맥아피를 持分 黨 48달러, 卽 總 價値 7,680,000,000 달러에 購買할 것이라 發表했다. [4] [5] 以後 인텔은 맥아피를 引受하였고, 2014年부터 2017年까지 인텔 시큐리티( Intel Security )라는 이름을 使用하였다. 2017年 4月 4日 인텔 시큐리티는 母會社 인텔로부터 獨立하여 旣存 名稱인 맥아피로 다시 돌아오게 된다. [6]
