ISO 9362 (SWIFT-BIC, BIC코드, SWIFT ID, SWIFT코드)는 國際標準化機構 (ISO)에 依해 承認된 金融機關 識別코드(BIC)의 標準棲息이다.

自動化 處理를 目的으로 金融機關을 코드化하여 SWIFT가 國際 標準化機構에서 明示한 코드體系를 바탕으로 會員 및 參加者들에게 固有番號를 附與하는 것.

構成 [ 編輯 ]

코드는 아래 그림과 같이 11자리(4+2+2+3) 또는 8자리(4+2+2)로 構成되어 있다.

  • 4자리 : KOEX : 機關코드 또는 銀行코드 (알파벳, 'X'使用不可)
  • 2자리 : KR : ISO 3166-1 alpha-2에 따른 國家 코드 (알파벳)
  • 2자리 : SE : 지역코드
    • 두 番째 자리가 "0"人 境遇 : test BIC
    • 두 番째 자리가 "1"人 境遇 : SWIFT network의 passive participant
    • 두 番째 자리가 "2"人 境遇 : 普通 BIC에 對한 리버스 빌링, 受信者가 메시지에 對한 돈을 支給
  • 3자리 : XXX : 支店 코드(optional, 本店은 'XXX'로 表記)

  • Business Identifier Codes(BICs)는 SWIFT에서 管理하므로, BICs는 SWIFT address 或은 SWIFT code라고도 불린다.
  • 元來는 BIC가 Bank Identifier Code의 略語로 쓰였으나, 2009年 ISO 9362 업데이트에서 非金融機關을 包含시켜 Business Identifier Codes로 쓰인다.
  • SWIFT는 Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications의 略語이며, SWIFT는 全 世界 銀行 間 資金 決濟와 메시지 交換 業務를 迅速하고 低廉하게 處理하기 위해 設立된 國際 銀行 間 金融情報通信網이다.
