보크사이트

보크사이트 ( 프랑스語 : bauxite 보크사이트 ^[

]) 또는 鐵礬石 (鐵礬石)은 堆積巖 의 一種으로, 알루미늄 과 갈륨 을 主로 여기서 抽出한다. 알루미늄이 들어간 깁사이트(gibbsite, Al(OH) ₃), 뵈마이트(boehmite, γ-AlO(OH)), 다이아스포어(diaspore, α-AlO(OH)) 等의 物質로 構成되며, 針鐵石 과 赤鐵石 , 高嶺石 도 含有되어 있다. ^[1]

1821年 프랑스 의 地質學者人 피에르 베르티에 가 프로방스 의 레보 (Les Baux)에서 發見했기에 이런 이름이 붙여졌다. ^[2]^[3]

오스트레일리아 , 中國 , 기니 , 브라질 에서 主로 生産된다. ^[1]
