수많은 다른 技術 가운데 컴퓨터는 테크老圃브(technophobe)의 恐怖의 對象이다.

테크노포비아 (Technophobia ← 그리스어 낱말 τ?χνη/테크네:技術 [1] + φ?βο?/포보스: 恐怖 [2] )는 高級 테크놀로지 또는 複雜한 裝置, 特히 컴퓨터 에 恐怖感을 느끼거나 嫌惡하는 것을 말한다. [3]

테크노포비아에 수많은 解釋이 있으나 技術이 繼續 發展해가면서 이 解釋은 더 複雜해지고 있다. 이 用語는 大體的으로 非理性的인 恐怖感에 使用되지만 恐怖가 正當하는 主張도 있다. 테크노필리아 (technophilia)의 反義語이다.

컴퓨터 敎育자, 硏究 心理學者, 캘리포니아 州立 大學校 의 敎授인 Larry Rosen은 테크노포비아에는 "不便한 使用者", "知的인 컴퓨터抛브", "不安해하는 컴퓨터抛브"라는 3個의 주된 下位 分類가 있다고 넌지시 이야기한다. [4] 産業革命 中에 처음으로 널리 認知된 테크노포비아는 世界의 다양한 社會와 共同體에 影響을 주는 것으로 觀察되고 있다.
