有進 H. 피터슨 (Eugene H. Peterson,   1932年 11月 6日 ~ 2018年 10月 22日 )은 美國에서 태어난 牧會者, 學者, 著者, 그리고 詩人이다. 그는 30卷 以上의 著書를 出版하였다. 代表的인 作品으로  福音主義 基督敎出版協議會 로부터 賞을 받은 冊 "The Message: The Bible in Contemporary Language [1]  (Navpress Publishing Group, 2002)" 이 聖經을 풀어준 冊이다. [2]

그는 1932年 11月 6日, 워싱턴州 이스트 스탠우드에서 태어나 몬태나주 칼리스펠 에서 成長했다. 시애틀 퍼시픽 大學에서 學事 學位를, 뉴욕神學校에서 哲學 學事 學位를, 존스 홉킨스 大學에서 히브리어를 專攻하여 碩士學位를 받은 뒤 [3] 美國長老敎團(PCUSA)에서 牧師按手를 받았다. 또한 시애틀 퍼시픽大學에서 名譽博士 學位를. 메시아大學에서 名譽博士 學位를 받았다. [4] 改新敎 靈性 神學을 이끌고 있는 代表的인 神學者이자 牧會者. 牧會者들의 牧會者로 더 잘 알려져 있다. 캐나다 벤쿠버에 있는 리전트 大學(Regent College)에서 靈性 神學을 가르쳤으며, 美國 메릴랜드 州에 있는 長老敎會(Christ Our King Presbyterian Church)에서 30年 間 牧會者로 섬겼다. 靈性을 오늘의 言語와 이야기로 풀어내는 데 卓越하다.
