엘리자베스 퀴블러-로스 (Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, 1926年 7月 8日 ~ 2004年 8月 24日 )는 스위스 出身의 美國의 精神과 醫師이자 臨終 硏究(near-death studies) 分野의 開拓者이다. 죽음과 臨終에 關하여 (On Death and Dying, 1969)를 出刊하였고, 憤怒의 5 段階 ( five stages of grief) 理論을 처음으로 主張한 人物이다. [1] 그女는 2007年 美國 國立 女性 名譽의 殿堂(American National Women 's Hall of Fame)에 이름을 올리게 되었다. [2] 20個의 名譽 學位를 授與 받았고 1982年 7月까지 大學, 神學校, 醫科 大學, 病院 및 社會 福祉 機關에서 죽음과 臨終에 關聯하여 12萬 5千名의 學生들을 가르쳤다. [3] 1970年 하바드 大學校에서 죽음과 臨終(On Death and Dying.)에 關한 主題에 關하여 人間의 不滅性에 關한 잉거솔 講座(Ingersoll Lectures on Human Immortality)를 하였다.
