의 歷史的 假說의 하나로, 動物의 個體 發育은 系統 發生이 되풀이한다는 學說이다.
胚芽가 여러 方法으로 鎭火
하는 것으로 看做되므로 理論의 短點이 20世紀 初에 認識되어 20世紀 中旬에 이 槪念은 生物學的 迷信으로 格下되었다.
