로템 코우너 (Rotem Kowner, 1960年 7月 11日 ~)는 現代 日本史를 專攻한 이스라엘 의 歷史學者이자, 心理學者이다. 하이파 大學校 의 아시아 硏究 學科의 專任敎授이다. ^[1]

로템 코우너는 미크某렛에서 태어나, 幼年期를 마아얀 츠비 키부츠 에서 살았다. 3살의 나이에, 家族들은 하이파 로 移徙를 가서 그곳에서 자랐고, 헤브루 레알리 스쿨에 入學했다. 卒業과 同時에 그는 이스라엘 海軍에 入隊하여 미사일艦의 將校로 服務를 했다.

예루살렘 히브리 大學校 에서 東아시아 硏究와 心理學을 專攻한 以後에, 그는 베를린 自由 大學校 에서 1年間 工夫를 했으며, 以後 6年間을 日本의 츠쿠바 大學校 에서 工夫를 했다. 博士 學位를 取得한 後, 그는 博士 後 過程을 스탠포드 大學校 에 있는 東아시아 硏究 센터와 히브리 大學校에서 工夫를 했다. 1998年, 그는 하이파 大學校에서 助敎授로 校펜을 잡았고, 2004年에 敎授로 昇進을 했다. ^[2]
