南아메리카여우속 또는 南美여우속 ( Lycalopex )은 個科 에 屬하는 哺乳類의 一種으로 南아메리카 에서 發見된다. 이름은 남아메리카여우속이지만 典型的인 여우 는 아니다. 그러나 獨特한 個科 속으로 若干 여우를 닮았기 때문에 南아메리카여우속이라는 이름으로 불린다. 가장 흔한 種은 南아메리카灰色女優 로 큰 귀와 黃褐色 술 裝飾의 毛皮로 잘 알려져 있으며, 毛皮는 市場에서 高價에 去來된다. 이 속 中에서 알려진 가장 오랜 化石은 칠레 에서 發見되었고, 그 時期가 플理五世中期부터 後記까지의 200~250萬年前까지 거슬러 올라간다. ^[2]
