褐鐵石

褐鐵石 (褐鐵石, limonite )은 철광물의 一種으로 酸化 철(III) 의 手貨物 이다. 構造式은 FeO(OH)· $n$ H ₂O이며, 모스 굳기計 는 4~ 5 + 1 ⁄ 2 이다. 磁鐵石 · 赤鐵石 과 함께 主要 철광물이며 紀元前 2500年前부터 철 을 生産하려는 目的으로 採掘되었다. ^[1]^[2]
