美國心臟協會 (American Heart Association, AHA )는 美國 의 非營利團體 로, 心臟 및 血管 과 관계된 疾病 들에 對한 硏究를 支援하고 心血管疾患 으로 인한 死亡 과 障礙 를 줄일 수 있는 醫療 水準 向上, 一般人들의 生活習慣 改善을 圖謀하기 위해 設立된 團體이다. [1] [2] 1924年 뉴욕 에서 設立된 心臟疾患 豫防 및 治療協會(Association for the Prevention and Relief of Heart Disease)를 그 母胎로 하며, [3] 現在는 텍사스州 댈러스 에 本部가 位置하고 있다.

AHA는 心血管疾患 의 豫防 指針과 心肺蘇生術 의 가이드라인 ( BLS , ACLS 過程 等)을 提供하는 것으로 널리 알려져 있다. [4] 以外에도 1970年代부터 始作된 大衆的 캠페인 과 公共 서비스 弘報, 募金 等의 持續的인 活動을 하고 있다. AHA는 1994年 Chronicle of Philanthropy 에서 選定한 " 美國 의 가장 人氣있는 非營利團體 順位"에서 5位를 차지했으며, [5] [6] 포브스 知의 2018年 調査에서는 美國에서 22番째로 큰 慈善團體로 꼽혔다. [7]
