選別

醫學에서 選別 (screening) 또는 選別檢査 (screening test)는 아직 認識되지 않은 狀態나 危險指標 를 찾는 데 使用되는 戰略이다. ^[1]^[2]^[3] 이 檢査는 個人 또는 全體人口 에 適用될 수 있다. 檢査를 받은 사람들은 疾病의 徵候나 症狀을 全혀 나타내지 않을 수도 있고, 그 自體로는 最終診斷을 나타내지 않는 한두 가지 症狀만 나타낼 수도 있다.
