풀러 神學校
에서 牧會學(M.Div.)을 卒業하고,
하버드 大學校
神學大學院에서 神學博士(Th.D.) 學位를 2005年에 取得하였다. 풀러神學校에서는 特히
迷路슬라브 볼프
와 존 톰프슨 敎授의 影響을 받았다. 볼프 敎授는 첫 番째 神學 멘토였고, 톰프슨 敎授와 함께 工夫하면서 歷史 神學과 聖經 解釋學科 改革 神學을 사랑하게 되었다. 하버드신학대學院에서는 歷史 神學과 組織 神學 分野의 뛰어난 學者인
사라 코클리
(Sarah Anne Coakley) 敎授의 가르침을 받았고 “Calvin, Participation, and the Gift: The Activity of Believers in Union with Christ”라는 題目으로 博士學位를 받았다. 改革 神學, 成禮, 舊怨, 神學的 解釋學에 關心이 있으며, 2005年부터 웨스턴 神學校에서 改革 神學을 가르치고 있다. 地域 敎會 牧會, 露宿者 돌봄 使役,
우간다의 地域開發共同體 開發에서 많은 活動을 하였다. 에티오피아에서의 神學 敎育 等 다양한 活動에도 參與했다.
