鬚髥새우과 (Derocheilocarididae)는 小顎類 과의 하나로 中型著書生物(meiobenthos)이다. 鬚髥새우亞綱 (Mystacocarida), 鬚髥새우목 (Mystacocaridida)의 唯一한 科이다. 크기는 길이가 1mm 以下로 모래 海邊의 潮間帶 사이에서 棲息한다.

모든 鬚髥새우類는 겉모습이 거의 비슷하기 때문에 鬚髥새우類分類는 매우 保守的이다. 2011年 10月基準으로, 데로케一路카리스속( Derocheilocaris , 8種)과 크테토케일로카리스속( Ctenocheilocaris , 5種)의 2個 속에 13種이 記述되어 있다. ^[1]^[2] 鬚髥새우類는 1939年 뉴잉글랜드 南部海邊에서 처음 發見했다. ^[3]

鬚髥새우類는 南아메리카와 北아메리카 그리고 北아프리카, 地中海西部海岸에서 發見된다. ^[4]
