Jean Henri Gaston Giraud (8 May 1938 ? 10 March 2012) was a French artist, cartoonist, and writer. He was known for his comic Blueberry . His pseudonym was Mœbius or Gir .

Giraud was born in Nogent-sur-Marne . He died on 10 March 2012 in Paris from lymphoma , aged 73. ^[1]
