Espanol: Bandera de Mexico

La actual bandera de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos, llamada la Cuarta Bandera Nacional, fue adoptada por decreto el 16 de septiembre de 1968 y fue confirmada por ley el 24 de febrero de 1984. La version utilizada hoy en dia es una adaptacion del diseno aprobado en 1916 por decreto del Presidente Venustiano Carranza, en donde el perfil del aguila fue cambiado de frente a perfil izquierdo; Las tonalidades oficiales exactas de la bandera aun no han sido definidas por las leyes mexicanas, pero la Secretaria de Gobernacion sugiere usar las siguientes de acuerdo al sistema pantone: Verde 3425c y Rojo 186c.

La descripcion oficial de la Bandera Nacional esta dispuesta en el articulo 3° de la Ley sobre el Escudo, la Bandera y el Himno Nacionales de 1984 y a la letra dice: La Bandera Nacional consiste en un rectangulo dividido en tres franjas verticales de medidas identicas, con los colores en el siguiente orden a partir del asta: verde, blanco y rojo. En la franja blanca y al centro, tiene el Escudo Nacional, con un diametro de tres cuartas partes del ancho de dicha franja. La proporcion entre anchura y longitud de la bandera, es de cuatro a siete. Podra llevar un lazo o corbata de los mismos colores, al pie de la moharra

English: Flag of Mexico Official version of the Flag of the United Mexican States or Mexico , adopted September 16th 1968 by Decree (Published August 17th 1968), Ratio 4:7. The previous version of the flag displayed a slightly different Coat of Arms. It was redesigned to be even more resplendent due to the upcoming Mexico City 1968 Olympic Games; According to Flag of Mexico , the colors are Green Pantone 3425 C and Red Pantone 186 C. According to [1] or [2] , that translates to RGB 206, 17, 38 for the red, and RGB 0, 104, 71 for the green.
