Damanski
(Zhenbao) conflict
Sino-Soviet
border clash on Damanski Island (Zhenbao-dao) on
March, 1969 is the tragic example of bloodshed,
proceeded from inability of the political leaders to
compromise in ordinary border situation. Best sons
of two great nations paid their lives for inertness
of political mentality. Unfortunately, in spite of
regularization of border collisions and numerous
friendly gestures, Russia and China did not
formulated common opinion of 1969 border events?
