Philip Eugene Batt (March 4, 1927 ? March 4, 2023) was an American politician. He is a member of the Republican Party . He was the 29th Governor of Idaho serving from 1995 to 1999. [1] Between 1979 until 1983, Batt was the Lieutenant Governor of Idaho . He was born in Wilder, Idaho Jacque Batt died on September 7, 2014, after 66 years of marriage. [2] In 2015, at the age of 88, Batt married Francee Riley of Boise. [3]

Batt died on March 4, 2023, the morning of his 96th birthday in Boise, Idaho . [4]
