Dr. Muhammad Najibullah Ahmadzai ( Persian : ???? ?????????? ; August 6, 1947 ? September 27, 1996), commonly known as Najibullah or Najib, was President of Afghanistan from 1987 until 1992, when the Mujahideen took over Kabul . Killed by Talibans in 1996.
