Josephine Ann Tewson (26 February 1931 ? 18 August 2022) was an English actress. She was best known for her roles in the British sitcoms Keeping Up Appearances and Last of the Summer Wine . Her career began in 1957 and she retired in 2019.

Tewson died on 18 August 2022 at a retirement home in London , England at the age of 91. ^{[1] [2]}
