CATCH! TEENIEPING ranked Top 3 on ‘Youku’, one of the top 4 video platforms in China

SAMG Entertainment (CEO Suhoon Kim, hereinafter SAMG) announced on the 22nd that its flagship animation “CATCH! TEENIEPING” achieved 32 million cumulative views on local video platforms and the ranked top 3 on Youku Children’s Content within a week of launching in China.

CATCH! TEENIEPING, which first aired on major Chinese video platforms and Yuman Animation channels on the 12th, is recording explosive popularity from the start. The cumulative number of views on China’s 4 major new media platforms ▲ Youku ▲ iQIYI ▲ Tencent ▲ Mango surpassed 32 million views. In particular, in Youku, the popularity index exceeded 8,000 in just 3 days, ranking Top 3 in the children’s animation category, overwhelming competitors in the summer vacation season.

In addition, CATCH! TEENIEPING is broadcast on 10 OTT platforms including ▲ Xiaomi ▲ Skyworth ▲ Hisense ▲ Changhong, and 29 other Chinese TV channels including Jiangsu and Hainan Province in August, which is expected to rocket the number of views in China.

Local critics say that CATCH! TEENIEPING is rising as an emerging powerhouse in the Chinese animation market, receiving favorable reviews for its mirthful story and warm-hearted visuals that differentiates itself from other contents for girls.

“The current Chinese animation market does not have a leading girls’ animation. CATCH!
