Keshilli i Kombeve te Bashkuara per te Drejtat e Njeriut ( anglisht : United Nations Human Rights Council - UNHRC ) [1] ) eshte nje organ i Kombeve te Bashkuara , misioni i te cilit eshte te promovoje dhe mbroje te drejtat e njeriut ne te gjithe boten. [2] UNHRC ka 47 anetare te zgjedhur me mandat tre vjecar ne baze te grupeve rajonale. [3] Selia e UNHRC eshte ne Gjeneve , Zvicer .

UNHRC heton pretendimet per shkelje te te drejtave te njeriut ne vendet anetare te KB dhe adreson ceshtje te rendesishme tematike te te drejtave te njeriut si liria e organizimit dhe mbledhjes, [4] liria e shprehjes , [5] liria e besimit dhe fese, [6] te drejtat e grave , [7] drejtat e LGBT, [8] dhe te drejtat e pakicave racore dhe etnike . UNHRC u krijua nga Asambleja e Pergjithshme e Kombeve te Bashkuara me 15 Mars te vitit 2006 (me rezoluten A / RES / 60/251 ) duke zevendesuar Komisionin e Kombeve te Bashkuara per te Drejtat e Njeriut (UNCHR, ketu CHR) qe ishte kritikuar ashper per lejimin e vendeve me mbrojtje te dobet te te drejtave te njeriur per te qene anetare te tij. [10] Sekretaret e Pergjithshem te Organizates se Kombeve te Bashkuara , Kofi Annan dhe Ban Ki-Moon , ish-presidenti i keshillit Doru Costea, Bashkimi Evropian , Kanada dhe Shtetet e Bashkuara kane akuzuar UNHRC se perqendrohet ne menyre disproporcionale ne konfliktin izraelito-palestinez, gjersa shume pretendojne nje paragjykim antiizraelit duke qene se Keshilli ka zgjidhur me shume rezoluta qe denojne Izraelin sesa rezoluta per te gjithe boten te kombinuara se bashku.
