- Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge (明石海?大橋; Akashi-Kaiky? ?hashi) (also known as Pearl Bridge) is a suspension bridge in Japan that crosses the Akashi Strait (Akashi-Kaiky?) linking Maiko in Kobe and Iwaya in Awaji town on Awaji Island, as part of the Honshu-Shikoku Highway. The central section is the longest bridge span in the world at 1991 m. It was planned to be one of three Honshu-Shikoku connecting bridges, annexing two borders of the Inland Sea.

- 明石海?大橋（あかしかいきょうおおはし）は、兵庫?淡路市と神?市垂水?とを結ぶ明石海?を??して架けられた吊り橋である。全長3,911m、中央支間1,991 mで世界最長の吊り橋であるが、現在計?が進行中のメッシ?ナ海?連絡橋（イタリア）は中央支間3,330m以上の吊り橋が予定されており、同橋が完成すれば世界一の座を降りることになる。明石海?大橋の主塔の高さは海面上約300mであり、東京タワ?(333m)や?浜ランドマ?クタワ?(296m)に匹敵する。1998年（平成10年）3月21日に供用が開始された。建設費は約5000億円。
- El Gran Puente de Akashi Kaiky? (明石海?大橋; Akashi-Kaiky? ?hashi) es el puente colgante que une las principales islas japonesas: Honsh y Isla de Shikoku. Es el mas largo del mundo en su genero con 3.911 metros de longitud, su vano central, es actualmente el mas largo del mundo (los puentes colgantes, son la unica solucion a muy grandes vanos) y mide 1.991 metros. Es soportado por dos cables que son considerados como los mas resistentes y pesados del mundo.
