I have been facing this issue with copilot, after providing the question, chat is stuck in displaying
No steps completed successfully
Collecting context
It's hung here and i am not able to provide any input and get back response

Please update Copilot to the latest version 1.5.6.5692 that we released yesterday, If the problem persist, then can you please log a support ticket as we need to get more data to troubleshoot this issue.

fixed on my side by just reinstalling the GitHub Copilot plugin.

Same for me in WebStorm. I think (but can't confirm) it started happening after I recently updated to 2024.1.2 alongside with the plugin update to 1.5.4.5571. I assumed this was network related, but I've just run into it again and tried different networks and it's the same on all of them.
Restarting WebStorm helps for a while before it happens again

Same issue here, I use it on Pycharm. And I fix it by reinstalling it last time, but it happened again, and I can't fix it by reinstalling.

Happened to me as well in PyCharm 2024.1.2 RC (Professional Edition) and GitHub Copilot 1.5.4.5571 for a week or so, re-installing the plugin solved the issue for now. Mac OS here too
