In April 2024, there was an average of 243 minutes of total identified viewing per day, slightly lower than in March at 245 minutes.

The monthly viewing summary includes the monthly reach and share of viewing for broadcaster groups and SVOD/AVOD services that account for more than 0.5% of total identified viewing.

Drama favourites remained consistent this month with Death in Paradise, Beyond Paradise and Blue Lights at the top of the viewing list for BBC One. Red Eye, Emmerdale and Coronation Street pulled in viewers for ITV1.

Entertainment shows abound in April with The Apprentice, Race Across the World and Have I Got News For You on BBC One. Britain’s Got Talent and Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway on ITV1. Married at First Sight Australia, Hunted and Taskmaster on Channel 4.

Over on the SVOD services, viewers tuned in for dramas such as Scoop, Baby Reindeer and The Gentlemen on Netflix. Fallout dominated viewing on Prime Video. Bluey stayed at the top spot on Disney+ alongside Shogun and Renegade Nell. A Gentleman in Moscow on Paramount+ and Argylle on Apple TV+ also proved popular.
