Autopatrollers are trusted contributors whose edits and creations are automatically marked as “
patrolled
” and do not require being reviewed by a patroller or an administrator. They can also edit pages protected to allow only autopatrollers and sysops and even bypass several
abuse filters
.
For granting this right, admins may nominate a user at
WT:WL
and follow the procedure there.
