The Global Health Equity Network and the Zero Health Gaps Pledge
The Zero Health Gaps Pledge serves as a public commitment for organizational leaders globally to act on health equity. Launched during the 2023 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos by the Global Health Equity Network, it is the first global, multi-sector, CEO-level pledge for health equity.
The Pledge includes 10 key commitments for CEOs to embed health equity principles throughout their operations, workforce, and guiding philosophies. Pledge commitments include (but are not limited to) supporting strong diversity, equity and inclusion programs; providing accessible high-quality health and mental health services; paying employees across the supply chain a living wage; investing in safe living environments, and many others. The Pledge is supported by the Business Case for Health Equity and an Action Guide for Advancing Health Equity.
While each organization is at a different stage of their health equity journey, this pledge harnesses energy from across sectors and geographies to help achieve a world with Zero Health Gaps.
