The Show Was Divided into Six Sections
As always, the VS show was divided into themed sections. This year, the brand opened with the “Punk Angel” group, featuring looks by Balmain, followed by a “Goddesses” section that saw models channeling Greco-Roman deities with gold laurel wreaths and ornate gold-leaf wings. (

fans, take note: The youngest Hadid sister walked in this section twice.) The VS Pink section was themed “Millennial Nation” and was followed by the colorful “Winter’s Tale” group. The “Porcelain Angel” collection echoed the blue-and-white designs of Ming dynasty vases, and the show closed with a multicultural “Nomadic Angels” section that touched on traditions from cultures around the world.

Balmain Debuted Its Exclusive Designs
After months of speculation, Balmain’s looks for the VS show were revealed on the runway today. Creative director Olivier Rousteing channeled a rocker spirit, showing studded, plaid, and embellished ensembles worn with Victoria’s Secret x Balmain underwear that will be available in VS stores this week. In what might be a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show first, models like Stella Maxwell and Martha Hunt wore full leather jackets on the runway.
