Joe and Anthony Russo, who exec produce NBC’s “Community” and ABC’s “Happy Endings,” are in final negotiations to direct the sequel to “Captain America: The First Avenger” for Marvel Studios and Disney.
Marvel and the Russos’ reps had no comment on the hire.
Chris Evans is set to reprise his role as titular super soldier Steve Rogers, while Samuel L. Jackson will once again appear as S.H.I.E.L.D. leader
