Bridgerton's Florence Hunt has dropped a Royal bombshell about her wardrobe in the upcoming third series of the Netflix hit, revealing she donned a piece of Princess Diana 's legacy. The young starlet, who plays Hyacinth Bridgerton, shared with People magazine that one of her dresses was crafted from a "cut off" of a gown once worn by the beloved princess.

The 17 year old British actress gushed about the show's costume department and their incredible work, saying: "I wore this beautiful blue dress, and I believe it was a cut off from Princess Diana's dress that she wore at some point. A cut off from one of her dresses that they made for Princess Diana and they made a dress out of that fabric, which was mental."

Florence expressed her awe over her favourite costume piece, adding that the team allowed her to keep a snippet of the fabric after filming concluded. She enthused: "I just thought it was amazing. I felt like I was wearing a piece of history. It was crazy, yeah."

This revelation comes as Luke Newton , known for his role as Colin Bridgerton, confessed he's not quite ready for his own revealing scenes on the show.

Speaking about the expectancy from fans for Colin and Penelope's romantic arc in the upcoming Bridgerton series, actor Luke revealed to People magazine: "I think there's always been that underlying sort of question mark with these two characters. And people have obviously wanted them to get to the point that we're getting to now, so I guess it was always in the back of our minds.", reports the Daily Star .

Throwing light on the intimate scenes, he further added, "You kind of play that in previous seasons and in previous scenes, but you can't really prepare for stripping down naked in front of your friends."

Both him and co-actor Nicola Coughlan owning up to their red-hot chemistry on screen made waves previously.

Nicola admitted the duo were too engaged in a heated scene that they ended up breaking a piece of set furniture. Describing the filming process as "really funny", she joked in an interview with SiriusX Hits 1, "We would be like, in between scenes, and they were like, 'Do you wanna get up and put your clothes on? '".

Laughingly regaling her experiences, she elucidated, "We're like, 'We'll just chill here', like under the blankets. But then we have the advantage of knowing each other for years."

At 37, the seasoned actress spoke to People magazine, opening up about how intimate scenes were well executed, expressing, "The intimacy stuff feels very real. IT feels very grounded in two people that are not trying to sort of, that they're awkward in front of one another, this and that."

"And all of a sudden they become like Lotharios in the bedroom and whatever, they get to be intimate together in a very real and beautiful way, and I think that's what makes it so affecting."
