College Library offers primary service to undergraduates at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. • When open overnight, a valid UW-Madison ID is required to enter or use College Library between midnight and 6:00 a.m.

About the Library
The Wisconsin Historical Society Archives collects, preserves and makes available unpublished records, such as hand-written manuscripts of people and organizations, photographs, sound recordings, maps, records of state and local governments and other original documents. Collection strengths include Wisconsin history and the history of mass communications, social action, and organized labor. The archives is home to the Society's map and atlas collection as well as audio, film, and photographs.
