Curtis Milhaupt, the SLS William F. Baxter-Visa International Professor of Law and a Senior Fellow, by courtesy, of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, received a "Best Paper" award for his paper titled, "The (Geo)Politics of Controlling Shareholders," from the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI). “It is an honor to be recognized for my effort to analyze the complex interplay between corporate control and wide-ranging geopolitical and domestic political concerns,” said Curtis Milhaupt about the award.
