In an article, THIS 3rd-gen female idol was revealed to have spent her savings to buy her group's song copyright, hinting at their comeback.

Earlier on May 18th, Chinese media featured Cao Lu, a K-pop idol who became a full-fledged livestreamer in China after her group Fiestar disbanded in 2018.

In particular, the female star rose as a 3rd-gen star after debuting in 2012 under LOEN Entertainment (hereinafter Kakao M) home to IU.

When they debuted, they received decent progress in their first year and established their name with hits such as "You're Pitiful," "Mirror," "APPLE PIE" and more.

From their vocals, visuals, charms and skills, fans initially thought that they had high potential to rise as one of the best K-pop girl groups.

At the time, Cao Lu also excelled not only in the music scene but also in the Korean entertainment scene. She cemented her name following her appearance in "Real Men" and "We Got Married."

However due to constant changes in music style, an influx of girl groups as well as lack of promotion, they never became as popular as expected and ended up having not many opportunities to showcase their abilities.

In 2018, they also officially disbanded after the members' contract expiration, leading Cao Lu to return to China to start anew.

It has been six years since the group parted ways, but the leader Cao Lu has been open in stating the unrelenting friendship of the members.

After the group disbanded, it was difficult for her as she wasn't able to get a lot of jobs as an entertainer in China.

Currently, she's been working as an independent live streamer for about a year and a half and she confessed that her life condition improved significantly and that her family was able to move into a three-bedroom apartment because of this job.

Thanks to livestreaming, Cao Lu was also able to use the money she saved for a year and a half to buy the Chinese copyright of the group's most popular song, "You're Pitiful" and re-wrote the lyrics, hoping that she could re-record the Chinese version of the track with her former co-members.

One of her motivations for making this decision was the fact that Fiestar never won first place in any music shows during their active days.

Following the interview, Cao Lu revealed that she would return to South Korea to discuss the schedule with the members to record the Chinese version of the song.
