The new service debuted with two titles: Darkness Falls: The Crusade, and Splatterball Plus, both built by Mythic Entertainment, but Centropolis plans to develop and add more games in the future, including Amerikon by VR-1 as well as Hellraiser and Spellbinder from Mythic Entertainment.
"The addition of the Centropolis Gaming Center to our Centropolis.com sci-fi portal satisfies both the sci-fi and gaming enthusiast by providing a single destination by which to enjoy each," said Dean Devlin, Partner, Centropolis Entertainment. "We are excited to work with Mythic on this exclusively multiplayer gaming system that presents cutting-edge interactive games. New features such as the Gaming Center make Centropolis.com not only the best place to find sci-fi news and information on the Web, but also a place to have fun and come back again and again."
Gamers will have to pay to play though, with a monthly subscription of $10 for the first game and $6 for each additional game, or $20 a month for all the games.
