However, the GT-AX11000 has faster download speeds at a 5 GHz band, 505 Mbps, compared to the ZenWiFi’s 288 Mbps. The GT-AX11000 has a slightly better connection range, 28 meters, as opposed to the ZenWiFi’s 27 meters. The GT-AX11000 is also better for external connectivity, as the router has 2 USB ports while the ZenWiFi has only 1. The ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro is an upgrade to the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000, which came out three years prior. While they are similar in many ways, the Pro has a more powerful 2GHz quad-core CPU the GT-AX11000 has a 1.8GHz processor. The also adds an additional LAN port. Also, the Pro has an advanced USB 3.2 port, while the previous version only reaches USB 3.0. Another difference is that the Pro has unremovable antennas, and the previous versions are detachable.
