A newlywed German couple received an unexpected surprise when they stepped out of Munich Town Hall after their ceremony.

The thrilled pair got the shock of their life when they left the building as man and wife to be greeted by hundreds of Scotland fans .

The couple were cheered by the Tartan Army before being serenaded by a Scots piper playing a rendition of Mairi’s Wedding.

The blushing bride can be seen dancing along to the tune while the groom punches the air in delight in a video posted by Germany’s Gong Radio Station.
