1st season premiered in January 2018

Monthly Shonen Sunday
magazine is revealing on Saturday that
S?ichir? Yamamoto
's
Teasing Master Takagi-san
(
Karakai J?zu no Takagi-san
) manga will get a second television anime season. The magazine does not reveal the premiere date for the anime.
The
Monthly Shonen Sunday
website previously
teased
last month that the magazine would have an important announcement on January 12.
Yamamoto launched the manga in
Gessan
mini
, the accompanying booklet to
Shogakukan
's
Gessan
(
Monthly Shonen Sunday
) magazine, in 2013. After Yamamoto finished serializing his
Fudatsuki no Ky?ko-chan
manga in
Gessan
in June 2016,
Teasing Master Takagi-san
moved to
Gessan
in July 2016.
The first television anime premiered within the "Anime no Me" programming block in January 2018, and it also
adapted
Yamamoto's
Ashita wa Doy?bi
manga as segments within the show.
Crunchyroll
streamed
the anime as it aired in Japan, and
Funimation
streamed the series with an English
dub
.

Shogakukan
published the manga's ninth compiled book volume in July 2018, and it
bundled
an original video anime
adaptation
of the manga chapter "Water Slide." The manga's 10th volume will ship on February 12. As of February 2018, the series has more than 4 million
copies
in digital sales and in print copies.
Yen Press
is
releasing
the manga in English.
