On Thursday, October 26, a train collided with an off-road military truck in the southern coastal city of Raseborg shortly before 08:00 (local time), killing at least seven people and injuring three more. Train services on the Karis - Ekanas - Hanko line have been suspended and a bus replacement service has been set up along the route. Increased journey times are to be anticipated.
