Disney artist Brian Kesinger teased a new, unannounced Marvel Studios animated project.

On Instagram, Kesinger revealed that he'll be directing "a new animated series at Marvel Studios" this fall. However, he was not able to share any additional details about the project as it has not yet been announced. He then thanked those who'd supported him in his career. The image Kesinger shared was simply of the Marvel Studios logo, thus giving no clear indication as to what the project might be. Still, Kesinger used MCU as a hashtag, meaning the project is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While there have been numerous cartoons based off of Marvel's characters in the past, What If...? was formally Marvel Studios' first animated project. That show did not take place in the main universe seen in the films, instead showcasing alternate worlds and potential scenarios. This seems to be the case for more than a few of the animated Marvel Studios shows, so it's possible that will be the case with Kesinger's project as well.

There are no additional details available for Kesinger's animated project at Marvel Studios at the time of writing.
