Surf’s up dude... er, we mean dog. 

The third annual Hang 20 Surf Dog Classic, hosted by Furry Friends Adoption, Clinic & Ranch , will be held Aug. 26 at Carlin Park.  

The event will not only feature surfing dogs, but will include local vendors, steel drum music, brunch, an awards ceremony and introduction of adoptable animals, a kids zone and more. 

Interested in entering your dog for the event? Furry Friends Adoption, Clinic & Ranch and Surfur Dogs is offering surfing lessons every Saturday and Sunday, July 8 to Aug. 20 to get your dog ready for the contest. 

Lessons are from 9 a.m. to noon and cost $30 per 30 minute lesson. To register for lessons, click here .
