Production on the movie began at the beginning of the year with stars Justice Smith and Kathryn Newton . The two young co-stars are surrounded by a great ensemble cast, but it is Ryan Reynolds being used for the voice of Pikachu that gave the film some true star power. With eight months still between fans and the film's release, some details have finally been revealed.
