Religion and Foreign Policy

CFR Religion and Foreign Policy conference

Through the Religion and Foreign Policy program, CFR serves as a resource for the faith community, bringing together congregational and lay leaders, religion scholars, and representatives of faith-based organizations for conversations on issues at the intersection of religion and global affairs. Through conference calls, a national roundtable series, and an annual workshop in New York, CFR builds meaningful connections and provides religious leaders with resources to inform their sermons and foster dialogue within their congregations.

It offers a distinctive, nonpartisan forum to convene policymakers with CFR fellows and leading experts in their fields. The program brings CFR experts to the Hill for briefings, roundtable discussions, and to deliver congressional testimony, and produces a timely enewsletter for congressional staff.
