A Republic of Korea Marine Corps (RoKMC) MUH-1 helicopter crashed at a military airport in the southeastern South Korean city of Pohang on 11 July, killing five of the six marines aboard and injuring the other, the Yonhap news agency reported that same day.
The helicopter was being test flown after being repaired when it went down from a height of about 10 m and caught fire, Marine Corps officials told the media outlet, adding that a committee will be formed to determine the cause of the crash.
