While things might be looking up for SoundCloud, that doesn’t mean the same is true for the rappers that rely on the platform. Recently, allegations have been leveled against rapper Tekashi69, claiming that he had sexual relations with a minor.
The Twitter account
To Catch a SoundCloud Rapper
?featured an IG?
post
from rapper
ZillaKami
, who used to be friends with Tekashi. Now it seems that the two have beef. The post shows a shirtless Tekashi with his hands around a half naked girl who is said to be 13 years old. While no proof has been offered of the girl’s age in the photo,
Tekashi responded to the claims with a Snapchat
story. Walking down the block and flaunting $30 thousand in a bag, Tekashi says with a laugh, “I’m such a happy rapist. And I’m free.”
The Snapchat filter he applied can’t hide how creepy that statement is, and even though it seemed to be an attempted joke, it’s still not a great look. It also doesn’t help that he hasn’t denied the allegations and that he seems to admit it in the comments made in the IG post.
Following these claims, collaborator and fellow on-the-rise-rapper, Trippie Redd, has distanced himself from Tekashi. In a now deleted Instagram video post, Redd stated, “I’m sorry brozay, 1400 don’t promote pedophiles… If we give niggas clout, we give niggas clout. It was an accident.” Peep the video below for yourself.
Redd also said that he and Tekashi made
some good songs
but he’s not rocking with him anymore due to the allegations. It’s important to note that none of these charges have been proven, and Trippie did later delete the video off his IG.
Both Trippie Redd and Tekashi69 recently appeared on MASS APPEAL’s Open Space series, which?you can check out below.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Teka$hi69’s
management has reached out to deny these allegations.
