Hey Ed Sheeran, Cruz Beckham is ready for a duet

?He'll settle for Calvin Harris, The Vamps or Beyonce though.

With his first single now out of the way, David and Victoria Beckham's son Cruz is ready to work with some of pop's biggest stars.

The 11-year-old whipped up a social media storm on Thursday (December 7) by dropping his festive single 'If Every Day Was Christmas' to raise money for charity.

Now, Cruz is looking ahead to his next step and while he'd love to work with Calvin Harris, The Vamps or Beyoncé, there's one singer-songwriter he admires more than all others.

"Ed Sheeran - I just love all of his songs," he told The Capital Evening Show . "If anyone picked one of the songs, I'd just love it. And I love how he plays the acoustic guitar like me."

Cruz has received support from the likes of Justin Bieber - but a pat on the back from his famous family obviously means the most.

"[My parents say] just be happy, if you don't want to do it, you can come back to it a bit later," he recalled. "And they just said that they're happy whatever I'm doing and singing makes me really happy.

"[Big brother Brooklyn] said to me that he's really proud and I can't ask for any more support. Everyone is so supportive."

The budding popstar isn't afraid to admit he's a fan of mum Posh's band the Spice Girls either. In fact, one of his first memories is Girl Power-related.

"I love all of her old stuff," Cruz beamed. "I remember when I was 5 years old I think, I was dancing on stage to one of her tunes."

PSST, Cruz, your mum's bandmates are looking for two Spice Girls replacements . We're sure they'd let a boy in… if you're cool with a bit of glitter!

Tune into The Capital Evening Show with Roman Kemp weekdays from 7pm.
