YouCaring Testimonials

The Riley Sandler Memorial Foundation, Inc.
$1,867,926   raised

“We were confident this was the right platform to go with. What drew us to YouCaring was that it was a good flexible site where we could get up quickly and reach out to a broad audience. There were no costs associated. We got online and the response has been tremendous. The outpouring from friends, family and people we had never and probably will never meet was very uplifting.” — Ian Sandler

For Anthony, With Love
$266,663   raised

"We’re so grateful for YouCaring. It’s a platform that’s free and makes it easy to share our story. It’s difficult to share your hardship, but YouCaring makes it easier to talk about it and explain your needs. I encourage everyone who is going through some kind of challenge or hardship in their life to consider using YouCaring.” — Anthony C.

Still Kickin This!
$132,685 raised

"In life, we go through some difficult experiences. They are hard for people to experience, and I think we just have this tendency to want to put your head down, and close your eyes. When you do that, there’s so much that you can miss, and what you can miss is the fact that you are stronger than you think you are, and that people are better than you ever thought they would be, and that people are so kind and so generous. Our YouCaring page was a wonderful way to keep all of our family and friends informed about what was happening, and also give people a way to help." — Nora P.

Locks for Lyla
$105,450 raised

“Dear YouCaring, A quick note of thanks from Lyla's Team for creating and sharing your wonderful website. In less than a month, we've raised almost $70,000 for Lyla and her family. Could not do it without you. Thanks. After this weekend's Locks for Lyla event, we are sure to close in on $100,000. Thank you so much!” — Dave C. (organizer for Lyla's Team)

Mary Kathleen Wilkins Education Fund

"I just wanted to thank YouCaring for providing this wonderful platform for fundraising. My cousin Mary Kathleen lost both her parents last month in a tragic, unexpected accident. As the word spread, so did the donations and notes of love and encouragement. To date, the site has been mentioned almost 800 times in social media and raised over $19K through the platform. Not only did that enable such a large fundraising, but also provided a lasting place for M-K to see that she is loved and even though she has lost her parents, she is part of a community that cares deeply about her. I believe the awareness it brought to the situation may have had a halo effect. Yesterday, the family learned of an anonymous donation made to cover the rest of Mary Kathleen's private school education cost. So you can see the power of this platform made a real difference in M-K's life." — Drew Wilkins

A D.A.D for Jadeybug

“We wanted to thank YouCaring for having this wonderful page! It was so easy for friends, family, and even people who we didn't even know to come and donate to help us with our fundraiser. YouCaring didn't charge us any fees. Thank you to everyone who donated and thank you to everyone at YouCaring. We are so grateful. Thanks again.” — Brittany P.

The Blind Team Challenge - Running the Grand Canyon
$10,329 raised

"Over the last 10 years I have raised money for a lot of different causes and this was my first time using YouCaring.com. I have been really pleased with how easy the site is to use to navigate. Both from the front end perspective of giving but also from the backend perspective of managing the website and figuring out how to edit our page so we could add press links and updates. So it was super easy to navigate. Most importantly, 100% of the money we raise goes to the cause and that is unheard of. I have worked with other sites before where you just feel sick that only $.95 is going to the cause and not $1.00. So I feel good when I’m sharing Youcaring.com because it achieves what I want and intend. Because when you are asking people to open their wallets and give money to a cause, you are hoping all that money goes to the cause you care about and that’s what I like about YouCaring.com." — Alison Berna ( read Alison's story here )

After The Fire - Rebuilding Kevin's Home

"I'd like to thank the YouCaring staff for helping me succeed and make this campaign possible. Before I started I researched and looked at several of these types of fundraiser websites and it seemed obvious to me that YouCaring.com was the only one to align with for this fundraiser. All of the other sites I saw took a small percentage from each donation as a fee to help run the website. In addition, PayPal takes it's cut from each transaction and between the two fees I would not have been getting nearly as much from the donations made toward the actual help for my brother. YouCaring.com does not take any fees from the donations and that was a key factor. They do make a request to each person donating to add a few dollars to help run the website, but it's voluntary and you don't HAVE to pay that fee. I'm sure many people do pay the additional dollar or two and it does help to keep this wonderful site running, and I'm glad for that, but they don't take anything away from the actual amount being donated toward the real cause and that is a very appealing way to do business. In addition to this the YouCaring site is set up in a very user-friendly way, making it easy for someone to get a fundraiser started and also easy for people to make donations. The easy-to-follow steps walk you through the process and make the whole experience effortless." — Bob Kimmel
